works as a lecturer in the language department of a Japanese High School in Tokyo. He is also liaison and academic advisor to a Japanese peace organization, the SA9 Campaign (‘Second’ or follow the JC’s Article 9), which aims to strengthen the UN and abolish war as an institution.
