Research Associate (Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin)/PhD Candidate at the Institute of Political Science and the Institute of East Asian Studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea, she received double Master’s degrees in European Studies (MSc.) and Political Science (MA) at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, and the University of Cologne, Germany.
