Textile as Object: Centering Cloth in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Textile History

This full day symposium showcases research that takes materially focused methodologies to textile history, investigating new approaches to explore what engagement with the material enables, and to demonstrate what the close looking of the textile historian can reveal.
